Each school year, until about April, we seek additional faculty for the coming summer, to supplement the core faculty who will be returning.
Every year, we hire residential faculty and local faculty.
By local faculty
we mean mathematicians and math educators from our host city
who will give a special lecture or two and/or will give one or two weeklong courses. By residential faculty we mean people from anywhere who will live in the dorm or possibly a faculty apartment. We strongly prefer residential faculty who will stay for at least 2 weeks, since we will pay your travel and lodging and it is not cost-effective otherwise.
With a few exceptions we hire PhD mathematicians teaching at a college or university.
If you are interested in teaching at MathPath this coming summer or in later years, please make an initial inquiry with both Steve Maurer, the Executive Director, and Matt DeLong, the Academid Director. To reach them both by email, click here.
Indicate where you are and what you do, maybe by attaching a CV. Indicate what intrigues you about our job, what relevant experiences you have had, and what questions you have for us. Give phone numbers, or a skype name, and say when is the best times to reach you.
