MathPath 2017 held at Mount Holyoke College
South Hadley MA
June 25 – July 23

We asked: On a scale of 1 to 10, indicate how satisfied you are with the following? (1= very dissatisfied; 5= OK, 10 = very satisfied)

  a) Your child's mathematical experience at the camp

  b) Your child's overall summer camp experience

  c) Your own MathPath experience as a parent (that is, the value of the information and communication from us to you, how accessible we were, etc.)

78 of our 105 families answered at least part of the survey.   The average ratings for the three questions were

   a) 9.40    b) 9.16    c) 9.31

One family rated us only 1 for each question but their comments were very laudatory, so we think they misunderstood the instructions. We count their responses above but if we delete them each average rating goes up by about .1.

In 2016 they were

  a) 9.54     b) 9.31    c) 9.11

In 2015 they were

  a) 9.56     b) 9.44    c) 9.22

In 2014 they were

  a) 9.47     b) 9.33    c) 9.38

Below is the distribution of ratings for this year.  For instance, for question a), 47 of the 77 families that responded to this question gave us a rating of 10.
