Name an accomplishment at MathPath you are particularly proud of.
I am proud of becoming independent at MathPath.
Overall, I have gained from MathPath something much different from what I expected. That is, a new view towards math as an activity to be enjoyed, rather than a chore. ... My passion and problem-solving ability have greatly increased over the incredible month MathPath has been.
Name something you regret not accomplishing at MathPath.
I regret not taking showers every day.
What was the best part of MathPath?
I realized that my love of math is not unique and that there is a place for my talent.
It was very humbling to not be the smartest and asking others for help. :)
The community. Never before have I been immersed in such an environment where everyone loves math so much!
MathPath was really fun and gave me a glimpse of what life in college / without our parents would be like.
Anything else you want to tell us?
MathPath was something I never knew I needed in my life! I had so much fun and did so much math and had an amazing month.
MathPath created so many great memories for me and I am so glad I chose to spend my summer of 2019 here!! Everyone was fantastic and I would love to come here a second year! I've never been in such a welcoming, math-nerdy place and even though I thought I would be homesick, I will be extremely sad to leave so many amazing people.
MathPath is a place where people who love math go; and return happy, a little confused, but loving math even more.
MathPath was an amazing month. I chose ... courses that puzzled me which made me more interested in the subjects. The faculty and stuff were absolutely amazing and were cheerful at almost all times. I wish these teachers taught me for life. Overall, MathPath is a great place to go learn math, make new friends, and most of all, have fun.
I think at MathPath, you really get to love math more with friends, and get washed over with a wave of math lovers here.
I had the opportunity to play with mathematics and discover the beauty of the discipline without restraint. I had the fabulous ability to be around other people to whom I related. At home, there's no one who really understands the mathematics I'm interested in, or people who catch on to my enthusiasm. But here, I'm constantly surrounded by others who I connect with immediately. This month will live on in my heart as the time I learned the most – about myself, about others, and about math's beauty.
